Lindsay Hill has led the field of agricultural communication with an extensive background in farm radio, print and television.

Lindsay began her career studying at the hand of the Dean of Ohio farm broadcasting, Ed Johnson. While working for Ed as a studio producer, she delivered market reports for his farm radio network. From there, she advanced to the position of Coordinating Producer for the television show AgriCountry. It was during this time, that she was selected by The Ohio State University to host a series of promotional messages to air on ESPN.

Lindsay’s next venture was into print working as a marketing executive for the statewide farm publication, Ohio’s Country Journal. This led to relationships with many of the Ohio ag industry’s most well-respected individuals.

However, Lindsay’s heart has always been in radio, and three years later she put her combined broadcast and sales experience to work at WRFD working alongside Andy Vance for Ohio Farm Radio. Just as her mentor, Ed Johnson left WRFD to launch his own radio network, Lindsay eventually left WRFD with her husband Andy to launch The BARN.

In 2007, the couple took over ABN Radio bringing Lindsay back to the place she got her start. Recently, she has been asked to co-host "Ohio Farm and Country" a television show produced by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation.

Active in 4-H while growing up, Lindsay continues to support the organization by serving on the planning committee for the annual 4-H Celebration of Youth, serving as an emcee of the event. She is also involved in the Ohio Agricultural Council, chairing the planning committee for the annual Ohio Ag Hall of Fame induction. Additionally, she assists with coordination of the Ohio FFA Blue and Gold benefit and serves as co-coordinator of the Ohio FFA Agriculture Communication Career Development Event.

A member of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB), Lindsay has been nominated for the NAFB Horizon Award in Farm Broadcasting.

Lindsay was raised in DeGraff, Ohio and continues to reside in Logan County, where she is on the planning committee for the Top-of-Ohio Ag Tour. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in agricultural communication.
